WHAT IS FACIAL MESOTHERAPY?
Facial mesotherapy is currently one of the most commonly used methods for facial rejuvenation and aesthetics is one of the areas in which mesotherapy is most developed. Mesotherapy was created by Dr. Pistor in France and consists in a technique for administering medical substances in very low doses, by means of a transdermal injection. The combination of applied substances varies according to the patient’s needs.
Facial Mesotherapy consists in the administration of a vitamin solution with antioxidants (which vary depending on the objective). When injected into the skin and subcutaneous tissue, it stimulates tissue metabolism to produce collagen and elastin. Microinjections are usualyy administered at a low depth (4-6mm), in order to place the product in the mesodermal layer of the skin. Complying with the defined periodicity of facial mesotherapy enables a more hydrated and glowing skin, preserves elasticity and improves its texture. Facial mesotherapy is thus one of the first approaches in preventing facial aging.
