What is Vectra XT 3D Simulator
O Vectra XT 3D is innovative and revolutionary software that makes it possible to visualise the “before” and “after” of plastic surgery in real time, allowing patients to get an idea of the results they can achieve with surgery, thus managing their expectations in a more realistic way. The system was developed by Canfield Imaging Systems, a department of Canfield Scientific, a company specialising in photographic applications in aesthetic medicine with clients all over the world.
In what situations can it be used the Vectra 3D Simulator?
This technology can be used to carry out a simulation of various plastic surgeries, usually in:

How it works the Vectra 3D Simulator?
The system uses 12 digital cameras that take 3D images of the patient and then build a three-dimensional model of their current appearance. These images are then processed by the software and the doctor uses the simulation tools to create an image of the expected result after surgery, while also allowing visualisation at various angles. By using this advanced technology, the patient can get a clearer idea of the results obtained after surgery, and it is also easier to clarify any doubts with the doctor. It is also easier to explain in detail what the surgery is intended to achieve and the doctor will be able to clarify whether the patient's expectations are realistic.
