LMR plastic surgery clinic opens in Porto!

If you've heard rumours, we can finally confirm it. It's true! LMR will open its first plastic surgery clinic in the city of Porto, specifically in the Campo Alegre area, in June 2024.

The idea came about at the request of several patients who visited us from the north of the country and has been in the pipeline for a long time. It is undoubtedly a very important milestone for the whole team, symbolising a ‘homecoming’, as both Dr Luísa Magalhães Ramos and a large part of the LMR team of plastic surgeons are from Porto.

With the same mission to continue offering excellent plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine treatments, the same services and a team that is also 100% female and 100% dedicated.

LMR HAS ARRIVED IN PORTO!

Eleven years after opening its first location in Lisbon, where the doors opened to the public for the first time in 2013, the LMR plastic surgery clinic has now arrived in Porto.

The new clinic is located in one of the noblest areas of the city, Campo Alegre, and will start operating in June 2024 (there's still time to get your summer body!).

The reasons behind this decision were simple:

Firstly, proximity to our patients is an essential element for LMR. We receive more and more people from the north of the country, which led us to think that it made sense to be present in that geographical area. In the same way, it's important that our patients feel completely at ease to visit us whenever they want and ask any questions they may have.
And precisely because we have created such strong bonds and built such close relationships with most of our patients, it was at the request of many of them that we decided to found the new LMR plastic surgery clinic in Porto.
Secondly, both Dr Luísa Magalhães Ramos and a large part of LMR's team of plastic surgeons are from Porto and have a deep bond with the city. For the team, opening a plastic surgery clinic in Porto means returning to their roots and being able to offer the best care and medical follow-up ‘at home’.

What can you expect from the new clinic?

Graduated by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, she completed her master’s degree in human sexuality and is currently developing her PhD at this same institution.

She joined the University faculty academic staff in 2008 as a lecturer of the Institute of Anatomy. It is in this unit that she produces most of her research projects, mainly in the area of surgical anatomy, whilst also supervising master’s thesis for undergraduate students.
