Dr. Catarina completed her Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon and the Medical Internship in the Speciality of Dermatovenereology at the Lisbon Central Hospital and University Centre.
She complemented her specific training in Dermatology with internships in Aesthetic Dermatology and LASERs at the Dermalas Clinic of the Teknon Medical Centre in Barcelona, in Hair and Nail Diseases at the Dermatology Service of the University Hospital Centre in Brussels, and in Cutaneous Oncology at the IPO in Lisbon. She has attended courses in various areas including Dermoscopy, Cosmetic Dermatology, Peelings and LASERs.
Its activity encompasses General Dermatology (acne, rosacea, eczema, screening/evaluation of “signs”, pigmented and non-pigmented skin spots and lesions, among others), Hair and Nail Diseases, Dermatological Surgery and Laser Therapy, including skin rejuvenation procedures such as Fractional CO2 LASER.
Dr. Nélia regularly participates in national and international courses and congresses within her specialty and areas of expertise. She collaborates in the medical training of doctors in the field of Dermatology. Additionally, she is a Lecturer in Dermatology at the NOVA Medical School (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and a Clinical Research Investigator in Multicentre Clinical Trials. Dr Cristina Moreira has a Master's degree in Medicine from NOVA Medical School since 2011.
She began her medical career in General Surgery and continued her training by specialising in Stomatology and Oro-Maxillary Surgery, where she developed specialised skills in head and neck surgery.
His passion for Aesthetic Medicine was born in parallel with his hospital activity and, since 2019, he has dedicated himself to this area, in which he completed his degree. Master in Regenerative Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine by Faculty of Medicine, Complutense University of Madrid.
In addition to her clinical practice, she maintains a strong link to teaching and scientific research, and is a trainer for Fotona® in workshops on lasers applied to dermatology and aesthetic medicine, as well as a trainer in workshops on injectable medical procedures. She has published more than 30 scientific articles and presented more than 80 scientific papers at national and international congresses.
