Facial harmonisation and profile redefinition
Dr Luísa Magalhães Ramos - Plastic Surgery (licence no. 42810)
At the initial assessment, Vanessa had a receding chin, loss of definition of the jawline and accumulation of fat in the neck area, factors that compromised her facial contour and the harmony of her profile. A facial harmonisation plan was drawn up with the aim of improving the projection of the chin, defining the jaw and balancing the volumes of the face, while always respecting the patient's identity and natural features.
Procedures carried out:
- facial volume replacement in strategic areas
- global facial harmonisation
- chin projection correction
- jowl treatment
- jawline definition
Results:
a more structured, feminine and natural face, with better definition of the profile and a lighter, more confident expression.
Mommy Makeover after pregnancy and breastfeeding
Dr Mariana Martins ( ballot paper no. 55124)
After pregnancy and breastfeeding, Vanessa had structural body changes that are common in postpartum women, including loss of breast volume, sagging breasts, excess abdominal skin and resistant localised fat. These changes affected her body proportion, everyday comfort and self-esteem.
An integrated mommy makeover surgical plan was devised, combining breast surgery and body contouring, with the aim of restoring shape, firmness and balance to the body after motherhood.
Mastopexy with breast implants
Mastopexy with implants made it possible to lift the breasts, correct sagging and restore the volume lost after pregnancy and breastfeeding. The procedure was designed to restore the projection, symmetry and natural contour of the breast, respecting the patient's anatomy and characteristics. The scars were positioned discreetly, lower down, so that they would be covered by the bikini.
Liposuction to redefine the silhouette
Liposuction was performed on areas of localised fat that didn't respond to diet or exercise. This procedure made it possible to slim the body contour, improve the transition between the abdomen and waist and create greater definition in the silhouette.
Abdominoplasty to correct sagging abdomen
The aim of the abdominoplasty was to remove excess skin and correct abdominal sagging resulting from pregnancies. In addition to the aesthetic improvement, it helped to strengthen the firmness of the abdominal wall and increase the patient's functional comfort.
Result of Mommy Makeover:
The combination of these procedures made it possible to restore body proportion, firmness and femininity, creating a more harmonious and balanced silhouette. For Vanessa, this transformation represented not only a physical change, but also an important step in regaining confidence and a relationship with her own body after motherhood.
Vanessa's story
A change that began long before the surgery.
Vanessa came to LMR after years of feeling that she had lost confidence in herself.
Reserved, emotionally drained and used to keeping everything to herself, she described her life as a phase in which “nothing went right”.
The mirror no longer reflected who I was on the inside.
Her face lost definition, her body was marked by pregnancies and her smile was hidden out of shame.
More than an aesthetic transformation, the aim was to restore identity, confidence and well-being.
