1. botulinum toxin (botox)
The very popular botulinum toxin is widely used to smooth out dynamic wrinkles, which are caused by the contraction of facial muscles. This treatment is ideal for combating expression lines on the forehead, crow's feet around the eyes and wrinkles between the eyebrows (glabella), but not only.
How does it work? Botox temporarily relaxes the facial muscles, preventing the formation of new lines while softening existing ones. The results appear in a few days and last around 4 to 6 months.
