Daniela's story
Daniela, 25, lives in Porto.
Daniela is a young firefighter who has always put the well-being of others before her own and has faced life with low self-esteem from an early age.
A victim of cruel comments about her appearance and weight, Daniela never felt equal to her peers, always seeing herself as inferior. She always suffered greatly from the way her face looked and even heard “very unpleasant words”. They said she was “ugly, unpleasant” and called her “fat”. But everything changed when she met the LMR team, led by Dr Luísa Magalhães Ramos, at the new LMR Porto clinic.
She underwent a drastic makeover, including surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, mentoplasty and facial fat grafting, which not only improved her facial appearance, but also her quality of life. The icing on the cake was a “super haircut”, which helped reveal a new Daniela, more confident, happier and ready to embrace a new life.
Daniela's amazing result, the fruit of this teamwork, demonstrates that it is possible to transform lives, and we couldn't be happier with her incredible transformation!

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, specialising in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, He specialised in University Hospital Centre Lisboa Central - St Joseph's Hospital.
Throughout his training, he sub-specialised in the area of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, He has worked in world-renowned centres. At the same time, he also worked on breast reconstruction and the reconstruction of facial malformations.
He is currently working mainly on Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of the Face (eyelids, nose and cervical-facial lift), Breast Surgery and Female Genital Surgery.

Dr Catarina Duarte
DOCTORS' ASSOCIATION: 51027, specialising in otorhinolaryngology.
Master in Medicine from Lisbon Medical School, He then went on to specialise in Otorhinolaryngology at the Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, and joined the teaching staff of the Otorhinolaryngology chair as a free assistant. His training in otorhinolaryngology had a strong component in head and neck surgery, but also in rhinology, otology and paediatric laryngology.
