- Endocrinology for Weight Loss: Endocrinology treatment for weight loss was carried out before the surgery, in order to remove Sandra's excess weight, and the patient lost more than 23kg.

- Reduction mammoplasty: to reduce breast volume and improve the shape and appearance of the breast, correcting ptosis and adding volume to the upper pole.
- Lipoabdominoplasty: Sandra had excess localised fat on her abdomen that she wanted to remove and, over the years, her skin lost elasticity, became more flabby and formed folds, which bothered her a lot. In order to improve her body contour and make it more harmonious, we performed an Abdominoplasty combined with Liposuction - Lipoabdominoplasty.
SANDRA'S STORY
Sandra, 35, living in Figueira da Foz.
At 85kg, she began her makeover after years of struggling with her weight. In 2018, a troubled period in her life, she weighed 97kg. She tried various diets, but never managed to achieve her goals and always ended up putting the weight back on. For Sandra, food was a comfort, a refuge, especially in times of sadness.
The time had come to say “enough”, and Sandra began her transformation process with LMR, starting with endocrinological treatment for weight loss and ending with surgical treatments. The medical support of endocrinologist Dr Carolina Lalanda was crucial at the start of this process. Sandra's goal was to lose 25kg in less than six months and, with great determination, she managed to drop from 85kg to 62kg in less than five months.
This achievement made it possible to move on to the necessary surgical procedures. The excess skin was visible, as was the marked sagging of her breasts, and the only solution was surgery. At this stage, Dr Mariana da Rocha Martins performed a breast reduction and liposuction combined with abdominoplasty, giving Sandra a less voluminous and firmer chest and a more harmonious and sculpted body contour.
With her weight loss and makeover with LMR and Dois às 10 TVI, Sandra has gained not only a new image, but also a new life! She now feels like a happier, more fulfilled and self-confident woman and we couldn't be happier with her drastic transformation!
