- Weight LossAfter years of struggling with eating disorders, Leonor faced extreme moments. She weighed just 28kg due to bulimia, and then entered a cycle of binge eating that took her to 95kg. In search of help and an improved quality of life, she began specialised treatment in Endocrinology for Weight Loss. With proper medical follow-up and a totally personalised treatment protocol, she managed to lose 43kg, stabilise her weight and, above all, rediscover her self-esteem and well-being.

- Mastopexy with implantsThe sharp fluctuations in weight meant that Leonor's breasts sagged, lacked volume and firmness. A mastopexy with implants was therefore carried out with the aim of lifting and repositioning Leonor's breasts, improving the shape and appearance of the breast so as to achieve a more harmonious, rounded and natural contour. The procedure added volume in a balanced way, avoiding an exaggerated appearance, and gave the breast greater firmness and projection.
- Mini-abdominoplastyA mini-abdominoplasty was performed to remove excess skin located in the lower part of the belly, below the navel. This procedure improves the abdominal contour, corrects sagging in this area and gives the abdomen a firmer, more toned appearance.
- Quantum and Morpheus 8: Leonor had mild to moderate sagging in her lower limbs, especially her thighs, as a result of years of extreme weight fluctuations. To improve the firmness of the skin in this area, treatments combined with radiofrequency technologies were carried out. O Morpheus 8 acts externally on the superficial layer of the skin by means of microneedling. In turn, the Quantum applies energy to the deeper layers of the skin using a specific cannula. The two treatments combined boost collagen production and skin retraction, reducing sagging, giving better definition to the body contour and a more youthful appearance.
LEONOR'S STORY
Leonor, 22, has a story marked by years of struggle with eating disorders. At the age of 12, she developed bulimia, followed by severe anorexia. Between the ages of 12 and 17, she was hospitalised seven times and weighed just 28kg. She lived for years between relapses and brief periods of recovery.
Later, she entered a cycle of binge eating that took her to 95kg. She experienced an extremely toxic relationship with her body, which aggravated her fear of exposing herself and her lack of self-esteem. Despite medical support, she felt she lacked truly human and empathetic support.
About a year ago, after reaching her limit, she sought specialist help and began an intense weight loss process with Dr Carolina Lalanda at the Skin Boutique by LMR clinic. She lost 43kg, stabilised her weight and began to regain her balance and well-being. Her main goal was to reconcile with her body and regain her self-esteem.
Even at a healthy weight, her body reflected the marks of years of extreme fluctuations. Her breasts had lost volume and support, and the skin on her stomach and thighs was sagging. To complete the transformation, Dr Sara Carvalho and the LMR team performed a mastopexy with implants, a mini-abdominoplasty and radiofrequency treatments on the thighs with Quantum and Morpheus 8.
Today, Leonor is living a new phase in her life. With more confidence and self-esteem, she continues to build a positive relationship with her body and herself. Her story is an example of overcoming and of how it is possible to start again.
